Fansipan adventure (3 days & 4 nights)

At 3,143 metres Fansipan mountain is Vietnam's highest mountain. Although only 9 km from Sa Pa town, it takes at least three days to get to the peak and back. The top is accessible year-round to anybody, so long as they are in good shape. As there are no mountain huts on the way, we will be camping. Our porters carry the equipment and food. No ropes or technical climbing skills are needed, just endurance and plenty of energy. The terrain is rugged, wet and often cold.
20:00 - 20:30 mini bus pick up at your place to Hanoi train station (Tran Quy Cap gate). Night train to lao Cai station near the Chinese border.
Day 01: 7:00 AM: (B, L, D) Picked up at Lao Cai train station by minibus to SaPa in early morning. Breakfast in SaPa Submit hotel restaurant.
9:00 AM: Our jeep will take to the highest pass in Viet Nam (Tram Ton pass) located at 2.050 metres above the sea level (16 km by jeep), visit the Silver waterfall before reaching the pass. Spend your time enjoying the marvellous nature and then start to trek to conquer the roof of Vietnam & Indochina - Fanxipan peak. After roughly 6 hours through the primitive rain forest, many small creeks and bamboo forest, you will have managed to reach a height of 2.250 metres, at this point you can relax & enjoy the fresh air, mountains and prepare for dinner. Spend the first night in our camp located by a stream.
Day 02: (B,L,D) Breakfast at the camp then continue climbing to the peak by way of a pine tree and yellow bamboo forest. After 4,5 hours you will have successfully conquered the roof of Vietnam, spend 1,5 hour enjoying the splendid landscape from surrounding mountains. At the roof of Viet Nam and Indochina is an ideal opportunity for to enjoy watching the surroundings: to the north west is a small village belonging to Lai Chau province, the splendid rolling mountains, to the north east is an excellent view of SaPa town which is only seen from here. Have lunch then return down to the same camp (2.250 metres) for second night in the mountain. Dinner at the camp.
